Microsoft Now Labels OpenAI As A Competitor In The AI And Search Engine Arena

Microsoft now updates the list of the closest competitors of their services through the latest annual report, and also mentions OpenAI as one of the competitors for the company. Microsoft states that OpenAI is a competitor in the arena of offering services based on artificial intelligence, and also lists OpenAI as a competitor in the arena of search and even advertising.

This is seen in parallel with the announcement of OpenAI in the search engine arena through SearchGPT. In addition, OpenAI also offers several services to Microsoft's competitors such as Apple, while making ChatGPT integrated on MacOS.

Microsoft has begun integrating artificial intelligence support called CoPilot into the Windows operating system, in addition to integrating roughly the same support into the Bing search engine.

The relationship between Microsoft and OpenAI is also seen as quite unique, given that Microsoft also invests in the artificial intelligence firm, as well as selling OpenAI's artificial intelligence models to other parties – more or less like a distributor for the firm.
