Midjourney Back Can Be Used Free For A Limited Time

Midjourney's generative AI ended its free image generation feature last year to prevent it from being misused by certain parties. The drastic step was taken after images generated by Midjournery such as Pope Francis wearing modern clothes and Donald Trump in prison went viral on social media. This week the web version of Midjourney was launched and to encourage new customers it is now free to use.

During this free demo period, Midjourney can only generate up to 25 images before they need to subscribe to continue access. The demo was given a week after Grok's generative AI by xAI and Pixel Studio on Pixel devices became available to the public. The market for generative AI services is now becoming more and more intense, forcing developers to provide a trial period to attract customers.

Based on our personal experience, Midjourney generates the most realistic images by supporting text that doesn't look garbled. It is however slow compared to Grok and Pixel Studio due to having a higher number of users.
