Nothing Phone (3) is an AI Nothing smartphone that will be launched next year. Nothing OS will be an Android operating system with the integration of a virtual assistant powered by artificial intelligence that can help simplify daily tasks. Most recently, an audio generative AI feature was introduced through the Nothing Widget.
This widget is a News Reporter, where Nothing will find interesting news according to the user's taste and summarize it in audio form. Every day starting in the morning (depending on the time zone) one news after another will be delivered in audio form and limited to 8 news per day. This audio voice is by Tim Holbrow who is the CFO of Nothing.
Supported news categories are business, entertainment, science, health, sports, technology and general news. Each news has no source or link given, so users have to be sure of Nothing that it is from an authentic source. One audio has a duration of 1 minute, no registration or subscription is required and audio control can be done through the notification tray. This feature is part of Nothing OS 2.6 for Phone (2a) Plus and will be available to all Nothing users via a widget update on the Play Store.
