Official Huawei MatePad Air (2024) With Thinner Body And 10,100 mAh Battery



Huawei continues its MatePad Air tablet offering with the addition of a new product recently. When talking about the 'Air' branding what comes to mind is a light and thin device. Just like this new tablet which is thinner with a thickness of 5.9mm compared to the previous generation.



It's also bigger through a 12-inch IPS screen (2800 × 1840 pixels) that supports a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling. As usual Huawei does not detail the details of the processing chip. But what is certain is that it provides memory options of 8/12GB RAM, 256/512GB internal storage and the latest HarmonyOS 4.2 launcher.



The main camera system used consists of 13MP (f/1.8) + 8MP ultra wide and selfies can be taken through the 8MP front camera. Powering the tablet is also a 10100 mAh battery with 66W charging that can work for at least 14 hours of video playback time. In addition, it is equipped with Virtual Cavity Antenna and Cavity-line Hybrid Mode technology for a more stable device connection.



In China Huawei MatePad Air (2024) is sold starting at CNY 2,899 (~RM1,811) a piece with no details for availability in Malaysia so far. Even so, you can still get MatePad Air (2023) at a price of RM2,799 if you are interested.
