Last month, the OnePlus Nord 4 was launched. It is their premium mid-range smartphone that this time uses a metal body after years of relying on plastic, glass and aluminum. Today, Oppo Malaysia confirmed that the OnePlus Nord 4 is going on sale here.
OnePlus Nord 4 comes with a 6.74″ Super Fluid AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip paired with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage. The battery of the device is 5500mAh which supports 100W fast charging.
The main camera consists of a 50MP wide-angle lens with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, the selfie camera comes with a 16MP lens placed on the screen hole. The device has a body and frame made entirely of metal. It also passes IP65 waterproof and dustproof standards.
The operating system used is Oxygen OS 14.1 based on Android 14. The interesting thing here is that OnePlus promises to offer support for four Android version updates and security patches for six years. Because it is a modern device, there are also some AI features such as AI Groupfie, AI Audio Summary, AI Eraser, AI Article Summary and AI Clear Face.
In Malaysia, the OnePlus Nord 4 is sold at a higher price than last year's Nord 3. With a choice of Oasis Green, Mercurial Silver and Obsidian Midnight colors and one SKU which is 16/512 GB – Nord 4 in Malaysia is priced at RM2599. In conjunction with the launch, a RM100 discount is given and those who pre-order will also receive a free OnePlus 100W fast charger worth RM199. Pre-orders open from 23-30 August, exclusively on Oppo E-Store, Shopee and Lazada.
