Oppo was one of the first to introduce a smartphone with 10x lossless zoom through a periscope sensor. However, year after year Oppo is left alone with this technology while Samsung with its Space Zoom feature has dominated the market. Most recently, Oppo is said to be bringing back this 10x optical zoom feature.
The device is said to be included in the Find X8 series, possibly the Find X8 Pro or Ultra. This device will use 4 50 Megapixel sensors with one of them being a periscope sensor for 10x optical zoom. The device will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 chip, using a 6.8-inch 120Hz micro-curve screen, a 5,700mAh capacity battery and 100W charging.
Oppo Find X8 is said to be almost the same device but smaller in size and does not support 10x zoom but may support 5x optical zoom. Based on yesterday's leaked images, the Find X8 series will include OnePlus' iconic notification dropdown switch. There is no information if the Find X8 series will be sold in the Malaysian market or limited to the Chinese market only. Let's wait together.
