Pico 4 Ultra will make an official appearance in Malaysia on September 3, 2024. This was shared by Pico through a statement on the official social media site today. This announcement was also made shortly after a few days of its launch in China, potentially making Malaysia one of the first markets to get the Pico 4 Ultra.
As the name suggests, it offers more interesting improvements compared to the Pico 4 that was announced in October 2022. These include more powerful hardware through the use of Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM memory and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Improvements are also given to the larger battery capacity of 5700mAh which also supports 45W charging.
There is also spatial audio support, a stereo speaker system and four microphones included. It also has a pair of 32MP cameras that can also be used to record 3D videos at a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels at 60FPS. In addition, it can be connected with other devices such as smartphones and desktops simultaneously, for example through the Poco Connect application.
Two controls are also included with them being smaller and without coils for a more comfortable grip. The question is now focused on the selling price of the device, which should be known after the launch. However we can expect the Pico 4 Ultra to potentially be sold in a similar price range to the version in China.
