Playdate is a modern retro portable console from Panic manufactured in Malaysia. It is an attractive and stylish console but it's a pity that no distributor in Malaysia is interested in selling it and with the high price Malaysians are more willing to buy the Nintendo Switch. Even so for a game as simple as the GameBoy era, Playdate is quite unique to me.
Recently Playdate has launched a new protective framework called Pizza. It uses the classic pizza box design concept and still maintains the magnetic connection like other official frames. The selling price is $29 which is around RM128.70 with shipping to Malaysia. This frame can also be opened like a pizza box where the lid opens up to reveal the delicious content which is the Playdate's small monochrome screen.
