PlayStation 5 Pro May Be Announced As Early As September

PlayStation 5 is almost four years old and now its sales figures are starting to decline. So right on time, rumors of the PlayStation 5 Pro being launched have been heard for the past six months. The latest report from WCCFTech, the PS5 Pro may be announced as early as next month.

While at Gamescom that took place last week, developers reportedly started receiving the final specifications of the PS5 Pro to make it easier for them to plan games that will be launched in the near future. Some developers have also delayed the launch of games to allow them to run better on this updated console.

Other rumors say a new State of Play event will be held at the end of September and the console will go on sale in November. This is the same strategy as the PlayStation 4 Pro launched almost 8 years ago.

It is believed that the PS5 Pro GPU is around 45% more powerful with the CPU operating at a speed of up to 3.85GHz which is 10% faster than the PS5. This allows PS5 Pro to run up to 4X better raytracing mode while PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) improves graphics quality comparable to a PC.
