PropertyGuru is one of the most popular real estate focused platforms in the Southeast Asian region. Under PropertyGuru, there are a number of portals focusing on property listings, including iProperty.
Today, the Swedish-based investment firm announced it will acquire PropertyGuru at a value of up to $1.1 billion.
PropertyGuru was previously founded in 2007, and has operations in several countries. Millions of properties are listed through their digital platform, and have operations in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. Previously, PropertyGuru had listed the company on the NYSE exchange at an equity value of around $1.61 billion.
