Another new device under the Realme 13 series was officially launched in Indonesia yesterday. It becomes a more affordable option by only offering a 4G network. In addition to having a concept similar to a previous Realme 12 5G for design aspects.
For more, this device uses a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and 2000nits peak brightness. It is then powered by a Snapdragon 685 chip, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Things get better when the latest Android 14-based RealmeUI 5.0 launcher is also deployed for an enhanced experience.
The battery is 5000mAh which can be charged via USB-C port and 67W fast charging. In addition, the main camera system consists of 50MP Sony LYT-600 (OIS) + 2MP depth. Selfie photos can be taken using the 16MP front camera. Both cameras can also record video at 1080P/30fps.
There are also other features and functions provided such as IP64 waterproof, NFC, speakers with Hi-Res Audio and 3.5mm audio jack. The Realme 13 4G is sold in Indonesia at a price of Rp2,999,000 (~RM838) with no details on its offering in Malaysia.
Even so, a check through SIRIM's official website found that the latest device with the name Realme 13 5G has been listed. The use of the word 5G clearly gives the impression that the device will be equipped with different internal hardware since the Snapdragon 685 chip only supports 4G networks.
