Realme 320W Supersonic Charge was officially introduced in China today. It is an enhanced fast charging technology for a better user experience. For example, the technology can charge a smartphone's battery to full in just 4 minutes and 30 seconds. On average it can take one minute to reach 26% and two minutes to reach 50%.
All these figures are shared by Realme themselves but still depend on the battery capacity of the device. The development of Realme 320W Supersonic Charge took at least two years and can work best with a combination of different technologies. For example, it requires a special foldable battery which according to Realme is the first in the world. The battery consists of four different cells with a total capacity of 4,420mAh, in addition to appearing thin with a thickness of only 3mm.
Then the charging itself also has two USB-C ports and supports a number of other charging protocols including Power Delivery, UFCS and SuperVOOC. There is also a patented "AirGap" Voltage Transformer technology that uses electromagnetic switching to isolate high voltage from the battery in the event of damage. This is to ensure a safe charging process while protecting the device's battery with optimal heat flow.
