A few weeks ago, the RedMagic 9S Pro was launched in Malaysia as the first smartphone in Malaysia with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version chip. When launched, this device had no official warranty by ZTE Malaysia until today it was relaunched.
It's still the same device with a 6.8-inch AMOLED BOE Q9+ 120Hz screen and a brightness of 1600 nits. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version chip is matched with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X memory and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage. The camera configuration is 50MP Samsung GN5 + 50MP + 2MP and the selfie camera is 16MP second generation UDC type.
The device runs REDMAGIC OS 9.5 based on Android 14 with software update support for 2 years. The battery is 6400mAh with 80W charging, the Game Space drop-down switch is still maintained, the shoulder touch button is still there and the RGB system is a customizable strip. For the cooling system, it uses an ICE 13.5 fan with blades rotating at a rate of 22,000 RPM.
RedMagic 9S Pro is also designed to look neater. The camera has no hump but is flat on the back, then in terms of pattern it is no longer elegant but looks elegant and simple. A special Red Core 2 Pro chip is included to handle all gaming features including making the phone as a control device and the laptop screen as the main monitor.
For those who don't know, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version is the same chip as Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy, only it is used for non-Samsung devices. This means, the GPU power is also more powerful which is Adreno 750 1 GHz. The selling price is still the same; 12/256 GB at a price of RM3499, then 16/512 GB at a price of RM4399. In conjunction with the relaunch, RedMagic VC Cooler 5 Pro worth RM249 will be given as a gift.
