In silence it seems that the new Redmi Buds 6 Active earphones have started to be offered in Malaysia today. It is available at a retail price of RM99 through all authorized Redmi distributors throughout Malaysia. A low price offer worth RM69 is also offered for a limited time.
Redmi Buds 6 Active are earphones of the open type with a compact charging pod. A pair of 14.2mm audio drivers are used with two built-in microphones and an active noise cancellation system. The use of the Xiaomi Earbuds App is highly recommended for more comprehensive control including EQ settings.
Tethering to the device is through a Bluetooth 5.4 connection. With a 475mAh battery included it allows it to function between 6 - 30 hours of use. The charging process is wired through the built-in USB-C port with a time taken between 90 - 120 minutes to fully charge.
