RHB Bank shares a new development through the launch of Dynamic DuitNow QR (DNQR) Soundbox terminal with keypad feature. This improvement follows the introduction of the DNQR Soundbox in December 2023 aimed at ensuring the security and transparency of transactions between consumers and merchants, while combating payment fraud. This introduction is quite reasonable which also gets solid cooperation from Payments Network Malaysia (PayNet).
Basically the terminal should be able to be a versatile innovative device that supports static and dynamic QR payments. At the same time providing smoother transactions through the keypad and calculator function integrated into the terminal. Then it is believed to be able to provide better benefits for businesses with larger transactions.
The initiative also symbolizes RHB's commitment to provide a transparent payment system while also realizing the company's vision to foster inclusive growth throughout Malaysia. To date RHB is also said to have signed up over 600 new dealers with Soundbox devices. Subsequently contributed to a growth of 33% with transaction value reaching RM16 million within five months of introduction.
