Samsung updated their The Premiere ultra short throw projector offering this week with The Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7 models each supporting image projection at 4K resolution.
The Premiere 9 is a flagship model with the ability to project images up to a maximum size of 130″ with a description of 3,450 ISO lumens and supports 154% DCI-P3 colors and HDR10+. The Dolby Atmos audio system can be played through 2.2.2 channel 40W speakers complete with up throw.
The Premiere 7 can throw images up to 120″ but only at a maximum brightness of 2,500 ISO lumens and 100% DCI-P3 color. The Dolby Atmos audio system is also different on this model because it's just a 2.2 channel 30W speaker.
The standard AI Upscaling, Vision Booster, Samsung Gaming Hub, SmartThings and Ambient features offered on Samsung's Tizen OS TV are included. No information on the price of these two projectors has been announced at this time.
