Samsung is a technology brand that is no stranger to offering a wide variety of technology products from smart devices to home appliances and also components for computers and other electronic equipment.
Recently, Samsung has shown their latest SD card storage offering consisting of Samsung PRO Plus and Samsung EVO Plus which offer storage options from 128GB up to 1TB.
In terms of data transmission speed, Samsung PRO Plus comes with a data reading rate of 180MB/s and a data writing rate as fast as 130MB/s, while the Samsung EVO Plus shows a data reading rate of 130MB/s and a data writing rate of 160MB/s.
Both of these MicroSD cards come with a UHS Speed Class 3 and Video Speed Class 30 rating which allows them to be used to store 4K resolution video footage without problems.
Samsung also says that this MicroSD card can also be used to store computer game files on mobile consoles such as ASUS ROG Ally, Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch without any problems.
For the Malaysian market, Samsung PRO Plus and Samsung EVO Plus storage has already started to be offered with options from 128GB up to 512GB. For now it is not known yet if the 1TB storage option will be brought in.
