SanDisk launches 8TB SD Micro card and a durable 16TB SSD storage

Western Digital through their SanDisk sub -brand has launched an 8TB SD micro card for public use. With this huge storage, it targets the owners of mobile console, smartphones, drones and cameras that want to add storage easily and quickly.

The card is of the MicroSDUC UHS-i type with the ability to read at 100MB/s speed. This makes it the first SD micro card with 8TB storage in the world. This came four months after SanDisk launched an Extreme Pro Disk Card with 4TB storage.

At the same time, the 16TB Sandisk Desk Drive 16TB storage is also shown with waterproofing and stopping capabilities. The storage is still in the test stage with SanDisk to launch it at a later date. The sale price for both SD micro cards with this giant storage has not yet been announced.
