Sony lately has been adept at offering affordable audio products with flagship features. For example last year with the WF-C700N at a price of RM549 or the WH-CH720N which costs RM649. Most recently, the WF-C510 was launched as a small but compact affordable TWS with many of the same features as their flagship TWS.
According to Sony, the design of the WF-C510 earphones is suitable for all human ears and focuses on tight and stable in-ear use. The surface finish is matte with a wider touch pad for easier control. This new TWS uses a 6mm audio driver, supports DSEE, Multipoint connection, IPX4 protection and Bluetooth 5.3 connection.
The battery can last up to 11 hours with a full charge taking 1.5 hours. The main codecs are SBC and AAC, then Sony also includes a sound passthrough mode feature so you don't get complacent when using this TWS. Through the Sony Headphones app, users are also allowed to play with the equalizer to create their own audio profile.
In Malaysia, the Sony WF-C510 is sold at a price of RM299. There are four color options which are yellow, blue, white and black. At the time this article was written, Sony's website still did not specify a sale date.
