HMD is in the process of coming up with a new Barbie-themed smartphone. The phone is the result of a collaboration between HMD and Mattel which is a company that manufactures children's toys including Barbie dolls. Ahead of the official launch of the phone it was reported to have been found listed on TEENA which also revealed the design.
As previously informed, the pink hue that is quite synonymous with the character of the statue will be used on this phone. Just not completely but what appears to be a metal-like layer emblazoned with HMD and Barbie branding is included. The layer also contains a 0.3MP camera and LED Flash.
In addition, the phone also offers a removable back panel with two SIM card slots, a microSD card slot and a reliable 1450mAh battery inside. HMD is also expected to equip this phone with a main screen of 2.8″ and a secondary screen of 1.77″. Then the phone is also expected to only offer 4G/LTE connection.
