Meta is now sharing the newest social media under them, Threads now has over 200 million active users. The new partnership comes a month after Mark Zuckerberg said Threads had more than 175 million monthly active users.
The development of Threads is seen to continue to be healthy, not to mention that this figure was reached a year after the service was officially launched. At the time of introduction, many targeted it as the closest competitor to X (formerly known as Twitter).
Threads today have their own communities and fans. In fact, with Meta's cross-platform sharing support, it's also popular, allowing Instagram users to easily interact with their community.
Mark Zuckerberg has also previously shared a target stating that Threads has the opportunity to become the next social site to reach over 1 billion users. For now, Threads remains free of advertising – thus allowing users to enjoy content on it without any ad interruption.
