Threads Tests Sharing Feature That Disappears After 24 Hours

Meta now shared that their social service, Threads, is testing a new feature, which is that shares disappear after 24 hours of being published. This will make it easier for users to share some things that may not be so important that they want to keep on their social profiles.

This feature is being tested involving a small number of users of the platform.

Through this disappearing share, it will also delete the various replies and comments that a share has received – making all interactions also disappear after the original share has expired.

Indirectly, this will also increase the rate of use of the platform, where users do not want to miss out on something shared by other users. For now, it is not yet known when this feature will be activated for all users worldwide.
