Total Active Windows 11 Devices Now Reaches 30.82%

The use of Windows 11 when launched in 2021 did not receive a good reception. Especially among users who actively play video games. Last year, 68.86% were still using Windows 10, while Windows 11 was only 18.12%. Recently, it has changed as the use of Windows 11 is increasing.

This data is from a study by Statcounter. According to them, as of July 2024 the number of active Windows 11 devices now reaches 30.82%. Windows 10 is down to 65%. This change is possible due to the offering of generative AI features such as Copilot and Cocreator. For now it is still uncertain if the Windows Copilot+ PC laptop with the Snapdragon X chip series will attract more people to use Windows.

With Microsoft returning to support Windows 10 through ESU paid updates, the number of devices with this operating system is expected to remain high. Other platforms such as Windows 7 still have 3.04% active, Windows 8.1 with 0.42%, Windows XP with 0.38% and Windows 8 with 0.24%. Which Windows computer are you using?
