Twitch Introduces “Video Stories” Feature – Competing With Other Platforms Like Instagram And TikTok

Twitch is now adding support for “Stories” format sharing on their platform, allowing users to add short videos of up to 60 seconds to shares, called Video Stories. This new update is being rolled out to users worldwide via the Twitch mobile app.

With this step, it allows a Twitch account owner to continue to share progress with their friends and followers, in addition to interacting through questions, polls, etc. It also makes it easier for users to share clips from streaming, in addition to promoting upcoming streaming events.

This simultaneously expands the use of the feature on the platform which was limited to text and images only before. It is also in line with the demand of users, especially those who are already comfortable on Instagram or TikTok these days.
