Social media platform X started supporting passkey on apps for Android devices yesterday. This function increases account security and simplifies the login process. This kind of feature was first introduced to iOS users in the United States last January and then expanded to the rest of the world in April.
The security feature used on this X application is a new security measure that is seen as better than the traditional password settings used before. Through it, the user's account will not be easy to hack and the user will no longer need to remember the password every time they log into the application.
To use this feature users still need to create an account with traditional password settings. Then, after logging into the application, users can activate the passkey feature in the "Additional password protection" settings section on the Security tab.
However, when we tried to access this feature on Android devices it was still not activated probably because it is being activated gradually.
