Today's launch also saw two new speakers Xiaomi Sound Outdoor and Sound Pocket announced in Malaysia. Both are seen as very portable due to their light and compact design. At the same time making it easy to carry anywhere.
Xiaomi Sound Outdoor is a stereo speaker with two passive radiators, a subwoofer and a built-in tweeter behind the canvas speaker grille. It is also certified IP67 waterproof which means it can be used in a variety of situations. Connection to devices can also be done easily via Bluetooth 5.4. It can also be linked to more than 100 units of the same speaker for a more immersive sound experience. Battery life can last up to 12 hours at 50% audio volume setting.
Xiaomi Pocket is seen to be smaller and compact in size but does not affect the sound quality at all. It is also certified IP67 waterproof which makes it suitable for outdoor use such as picnics for example. The included battery can work for at least 10 hours of use. For those interested, Xiaomi Sound Pocket and Sound Outdoor are sold in Malaysia at RM69 and RM189 per unit respectively.
