WhatsApp has been testing the feature of creating events for WhatsApp Groups for the past few months. This feature is finally coming to all users and anyone can see how to create an event. To use it, inside WhatsApp press the paperclip icon and select Events.
Users can put the event title, event details, date, time, location, and also create a link for a WhatsApp call. When an event is created, members in the WhatsApp Group can give feedback either Willing to go or Can't go. Event details can still be edited but limited to the creator.
When this event is clicked in the chat room, it will display the details and Group members who will attend the event that has been created. This feature is seen to be available to all users of both Android and iOS devices.
