YouTube Experiments With Showing Long Video Content On Shorts

YouTube Shorts is a vertical short video offering much like TikTok, offered built on the YouTube platform. Previously, YouTube had shared that Shorts alone generate over 70 billion views per day.

Most recently, in order to make it easier for users to discover a variety of interesting new content on the platform, YouTube announced a new experiment that will show long videos on the platform, in the Shorts section. With this step, users can find various interesting videos on the platform while scrolling and watching other videos.

YouTube says they are experimenting with a small number of users for now. It is not known when this feature will be widely introduced to all. For yourself, what do you think about this move?
