YouTube Tests New Crossbar Display

YouTube is reportedly testing a new design for the bottom bar display on its app on Android. If previously the bottom bar on the YouTube application was designed with a solid color display, now YouTube is experimenting with a new design of the bottom bar display that comes out with a translucent color that is blurred so that it can show the video that is playing in the background.

This kind of design makes the YouTube video display look more comprehensive on the screen and at the same time maximizes the screen area for video display. The icon for each button also appears to be present with a simpler design.

This new bottom bar display design change may aim to provide a cleaner, neater display and focus on the video in the hope that users can enjoy the content better. In addition, with the bottom bar in this new face will also indirectly provide a fresher interface and suit the design style of today's applications.

However, this new bottom bar display is still in the testing phase and is not yet available for all Android users. This is because, it will be given to all Android users in stages.
