Ziff Davis Takeover of CNET at Over $100 Million Value

CNET is one of the technology news sites that was popular and referred to many times ago. However, with various new sites entering the web arena, CNET also faces challenges in gaining readers and maintaining the impact of their websites.

Most recently, Ziff Davis reportedly acquired CNET from Red Ventures at a value exceeding $100 million. For information, Ziff Davis has a number of big names under them, including PCMag, Mashable, IGN and so on.

CNET has previously changed hands several times. Founded in 1995, it focuses on sharing news and articles focusing on technology, and gadgets. In 2008, it was sold to CBS for $1.8 billion, and then in 2020, Red Ventures bought CNET for $500 million.

With this new ownership transition, we all hope that CNET continues to flourish as before, and present with a variety of interesting reports and articles under Ziff Davis.
