This week, Intel has launched their Lunar Lake family of chips. This chip has been used in many new AI laptops when they were launched at IFA 2024 in Berlin. Of course, Acer also launched their own product and the most interesting, this product weighs under 1KG.
It is the Acer TravelMate P6 14 AI. The weight is 0.99 KG and the new uniqueness of this laptop is the Lunar Lake chip which has a battery that lasts up to 29 hours (lab test) and around 20 hours of actual use. This is amazing battery life as Copilot+ PC laptops with Snapdragon chips can last just under 20 hours. The screen of this laptop is 14.0-inch WQXGA+ with a display ratio of 16:10 and a brightness of up to 400 nits.
The chip used is an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 268V/266V/258V/256V with (Intel AI Boost). It is also matched with an Intel Arc GPU. Then the memory and storage is up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM as well as internal storage up to 1TB. For design, this laptop is designed with magnesium alloy construction material instead of stainless steel. More amazing is, the weight of this laptop is only 0.99 KG.
Others are connections such as Wi-Fi 7 Wireless LAN and Bluetooth 5.4. TravelMate P6 14 is also equipped with various AI features, whether for work or to help creative users. This laptop will go on sale in early January 2025 with a starting price of $1,499.99 which is around RM6500.
