Apple may not yet be ready to standardize the use of USB 3 on all iPhone 16 models this year. However, they have standardized the RAM size on all iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models to 8GB RAM according to MacRumors report.
Last year if you remember, the iPhone 15 series was equipped with 6GB of RAM while the iPhone 15 Pro series was equipped with 8GB of RAM. The increase in RAM is done to enable Apple Intelligence to be used on all four iPhone 16 models this year.
It is still disappointing that the offered RAM size is small when compared to Android devices. Apple users may say that iOS does not need large RAM, but the fact is that the price of RAM is now cheap and larger RAM sizes only benefit users.
