AMD Expected to Launch Ryzen 7 9800X3D Next Month – Two More CPUs in Early 2025

AMD just launched their series of desktop processing chips, the AMD Ryzen 9000 last month. However, it seems that this matter is not very interesting to many users because its performance is not far compared to the existing offerings in the market.

Top PC component leaker Harukaze5719 has said that details from a media event showcasing the GIGABYTE X870 motherboard state that AMD will provide three CPUs for the latest X3D series, including AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D and AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D.

Through the same information, it seems that AMD will introduce the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processing chip first in October 2024, possibly in conjunction with the launch of Intel's Arrow Lake processing chip.

In fact, other leaked details say that this chip will launch before Intel launches their offering in hopes of stealing sales from Intel. In the meantime, it is also said that two more powerful CPUs, the AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D and the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D will only be shown early next year, possibly together with CPU offerings for other platforms.

The only issue now is that not many details are known about this series of AMD Ryzen 9000X3D processing chips, except that it is expected to perform better, especially for gaming purposes.
