Apple Downsizes Their Digital Services Division – Around 100 Employees Affected

In a move to streamline their digital services, it has been reported that Apple will shrink part of their digital services division by cutting as many as 100 jobs in the Apple Books and Apple News divisions.

Bloomberg says that most of this downsizing comes through Apple Books, which reportedly will no longer be one of Apple's main focuses in the future. The employees reported to be affected include several software and service engineers.

Although most of these cuts are made in the Apple Books division, it does not mean that those individuals will lose their jobs. Along with the announcement, those affected are asked to find a new job within Apple if they are not interested in finding a new job outside the company.

For some of these individuals it may not be difficult because many of them work with several different development teams, so switching teams is not difficult for them.
