In addition to the update for the normal iPhone model, Apple also announced an update to the iPhone Pro model, through the introduction of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro as well as the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The iPhone 16 Pro model brings a larger screen than before. It now comes with a 6.3″ screen compared to 6.1″ in last year’s model, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max model brings a 6.9″ screen compared to 6.7″ in last year’s model. This simultaneously makes it the largest screen iPhone offering to date and puts it more on par with other Android devices on the market.
Powering this smartphone is the Apple A18 Pro chip, the fastest processing chip in a smartphone today, bringing even faster performance and the Apple Intelligence experience.
The Apple 16 Pro includes a 48-megapixel "Fusion" camera that promises "Zero Shutter Lag" for ProRAW image recording. In addition, users can also record 4K 120fps video through this year's iPhone 16 Pro. As with the iPhone 16, the iPhone 16 Pro model also includes a physical camera control button, allowing users to use the iPhone for better photo recording like using other digital cameras.
On the audio side, Apple says the iPhone 16 Pro includes four studio-quality microphones, allowing for better audio recording. Completing this entry as well, Apple updated the Voice Memo app to allow for layered audio recording – thus enabling better audio content production through it.
In Malaysia, local users can get it from 20 September 2024, at prices starting at RM4999 for the iPhone 16 Pro, and starting at RM5999 for the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
