According to a WSJ report, it is now said that Apple is no longer planning to invest in artificial intelligence firm OpenAI, and is withdrawing from it. The reason behind it is not stated.
Previously, several big names were said to be interested in investing in OpenAI, with the company valued at $150 billion. Among those who are said to want to invest in OpenAI besides Apple are Microsoft who already have a stake in the company, and also NVIDIA.
Apple previously announced the integration of ChatGPT on the iOS and macOS operating systems to make it easier for people to check and perform various tasks with the support of artificial intelligence.
It is not yet known whether Apple's move will also prompt other parties to consider their investments in OpenAI or vice versa.
