Apple Will Reportedly Switch Completely To OLED Screens For All iPhones Starting 2025



Apple is now reported to be switching to OLED panels for all iPhone models sold starting in 2025. This will at once show Apple finally stepping beyond the use of LCD panels on their smartphones.



The use of OLED panels is seen to offer a more beautiful color display, in addition to being suitable for high-definition video display.


According to a Nikkei report, Apple has localized OLED panels for the upcoming iPhone SE to BOE from China and LG from South Korea.


Apple has previously started using OLED panels for their premium models, starting with the iPhone X that was introduced in 2017.
