Last April, Apple stopped the sale and production of protective frames with FineWoven finishes due to serious quality issues. The protective frame with FineWoven is an alternative to the leather version which is said to be of higher quality and environmentally friendly. After the launch of the iPhone 16, some FineWoven accessories are seen to still be offered.
There is no protective frame for the iPhone this time, but Apple's AirTag protector, the AirTag FineWoven Key Ring, is now offered. In addition, the MagSafe wallet, the iPhone FineWoven Wallet with MagSafe, can also be purchased. Apple lists some new color options Dark Green and Blackberry. The selling price is RM199 and RM279 for each. FineWoven is a construction material from recycled consumer goods.
