Design and screen

The first thing to note about the new tablet of Honor is a large and bright screen. The big point here is more than enough of the 12.3-inch screen. It also uses an OLED 3K panel that can produce a clearer and clearer display and thus address the usual issue of insufficient brightness on the LCD screen. In addition to having a high fresh 144Hz fresh rate to offer a smooth enough to enjoy. The thin, large -scale bezel of the side allows the tablet to offer a balanced viewing space.

There is also a 9MP front camera placed at the top of the device. What is important is that the existence of the bezel is able to address the unintentional touch issue on the edge of the tablet screen. In addition to other views also supports eye comfort mode through built -in software that can be found in the settings room.

Honor Magicpad 2 is also no less than a thin design aspect with a thickness of only 5.8mm. At the same time it is not too heavy at 555-gram which is at least good for its size. Then the tablet also uses a new type of aerospace fiber for the back cover and stronger aluminum for the frame. The completely curved edge also helps to make the tablet easy to hold in a variety of conditions either horizontally or vertically. It is definitely easy to hold with one hand without feeling overwhelmed.

Then we turned our attention to the back, which housed a round -shaped main camera with a 13MP configuration with a built -in LED flash. In addition, four audio lattices are used with the arrangement of two lattices on the right side of the USB-C port for charging and data transfer purposes. Then two more lattices are placed on the left side with the built -in power button.

Another feature of this tablet is also the audio adjustable button at the top which is also a space for placing the Magic-Pencil 3 honor for charging purposes. Bluetooth connections are needed first while also supporting the charging. Following eight speakers supporting the Imax Enchanced Audio is provided for the experience of listening to imersive music.

No audio jack certainly makes the user rely entirely on the nirwire earphone. No SIM slot shows that tablets only support WiFi without the ability of cellular networks. No verdict can be given for performance in this brief attempt and we still need to spend more time testing tablets more comprehensive.

Keyboard and magic-pencil 3

Honor Magicpad 2 supports some additional accessories such as magnetic keyboards and magic-Pencil 3. Both accessories need to be connected to tablets using Bluetooth and have a built-in battery. The keyboard is also full size with a numbered pad that makes the typing experience easier.

It can also be noted that this accessory can be used as a thorough framework that will cover the front and back of the tablet as a whole. Only the absence of the built -in touch pad is a significant shortage here as there are other manufacturers who can offer them on their products.

Meanwhile, the supported Honor Magic-Pencil 3 has the same design as the previous generation. It can be magnetic attached to the top side of the tablet, which is also a way for the process of re -charging. Proposed improvements to the honor can add a special space for stylus to make it more neat and productive to use.

Hardware and software

Honor Magicpad 2 is dominated by the Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 processor with a combination of 12GB RAM memory and 256GB internal storage. No microSD card slot was provided but tablets have 8GB RAM virtual support through the Honor Ram Turbo function. As always, there is still no self -changed ability as offered on other honor devices. It should also be noted that the memory and storage options were dedicated to the model tested in this article. Meanwhile, the full offering for commercial units depends on the official announcement on September 5.

Magicpad 2 is also equipped with Magicos 8.0.1 software based on Android 14 with settings optimized with AI smart features aimed at providing better experience. For example, like AI Noise Cancelling that leverages AI power to filter audio and enhance conversations with unique two -way noise cancellations. Suitable for use in telecommunications sessions either alone or in groups.

Then AI voice to text can automatically produce audio transcription. It can record and translate a real -time conversation with an internet connection. In addition to being able to label each person involved, the process of listening to audio recording is easier.

With ai handwriting beautiful handwriting can be better with the help of AI. Then it is best to be difficult to understand and read especially involving the terms or terms used in the subject of chemistry, physics or science can be easily detected through the AI Formulation Recognition features.

Other features of this tablet are the AI Magic Portal and the Magic Ring with the kind of ability offered on the Magic V3 foldable phone. Most importantly this tablet comes with a built -in Google Mobile Services support that certainly facilitates the use of most users.

Battery and charging

Honor Magicpad 2 uses a battery of 10,050mAh which is larger than a new Huawei MATEPAD Pro. It can then be recharged using a built-in USB-C port which also supports the 66W fast charging system. Honor claims tablets can work for up to 13 hours to play good video with FHD resolution. However, we do not test it for this first view and will continue to spend time with it to share the real amount of endurance through the coming review article.

Conclusion

Honor Magicpad 2 will be launched in Malaysia soon with a known sale price only on September 5, 2024. The announcement will be made in line with the introduction for Magic V3 foldable phones and MagicBook Art 14 laptops. Good in the classroom but further tests still need to be conducted for a more comprehensive performance. Full review will follow in the upcoming article.
