The Google Photos app for Android and iOS has been updated this morning bringing new video editing features. In edit mode, videos can be trimmed more easily to ensure that only the desired scenes are used in videos that are later shared to social media.
In addition to making editing easier, Photos also comes with a video editing system with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) with built-in presets. Editing in slow motion is also simplified to produce more dramatic visuals.
The process of finding suitable scenes for slow motion, cutting necessary scenes, applying slow motion effects and editing video colors are all done automatically. Videos can also be stabilized from shaky scenes and colors can be enhanced with the push of a button. This feature is available starting today through a gradual Google Photos update.
