The Deputy Prime Minister has now shared that a Cyber Security Academy will be established, with the main focus on meeting the demand for manpower in the arena. The Cyber Security Academy will be positioned under the coordination of Cybersecurity Malaysia.
The development of the digital arena also leads to the need for skilled workforce, particularly focusing on cyber security. The academy is expected to coordinate the specific forms that will be provided, while forming based on the current needs in the digital arena.
Several programs will be implemented, in an effort to increase capacity and also structured competence continuously. It is expected that this Cyber Security Academy will allow more than 26,000 talents in the field to be developed, as well as meet local needs in the cyber security arena.
