Modular accessories are back in vogue this year with the introduction of the CMF Phone 1. At IFA Berlin today, the HMD Fusion was launched and it also comes with a number of modular accessories that add features to the device.
In terms of specifications, the HMD Fusion is equipped with a 6.56" IPS LCD HD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, memory up to 8GB RAM, storage up to 256GB and a 5000 mAh battery that supports 33W charging. Storage can be increased up to 1TB using a micro SD card.
The 108MP main camera is paired with a 2MP depth sensor while the front 50MP sensor is used for the selfie camera. The device uses Android 14 with support for two Android versions and three years of security patches.
The accessories offered are a wireless charging panel, a square lamp for selfies or selfies, a stylish body frame and a durable body frame. Like CMF, HMD will also offer CAD drawings so owners can print their accessories themselves. HMD Fusion is sold at a price starting at €249 (~RM 1198).
