HMD has teased the introduction of their Barbie phone several times before, and today HMD officially introduced the retro valve phone to the public. Barbie-themed, it brings the use of pink with it, in addition to the use of physical buttons – like a 2000s-era phone.
HMD teamed up with Mattel to introduce this retro-valve phone. It is positioned as the best phone for those of you who want to be "free" from using a smartphone.
This is because this Barbie phone by HMD does not include support for any social media applications, nor a number of other popular applications. It includes basic features such as the ability to make phone calls, send SMS, and a 5-megapixel camera to take pictures. The phone uses a USB-C based charger.
Barbie-themed, it also includes a number of inspired designs, including on the keyboard, wallpaper, device start-up audio, app icons, and so on.
For now, it is not known yet about the offer of this Barbie phone for the Malaysian market. For yourself, will you get it if it is sold in Malaysia?
