Huawei announced their new product launch event on September 10. It is very likely that the tri-fold screen device and the Mate 70 series will be announced at this event. The teaser image for the event clearly shows the letter Z which resembles the folding mechanism used on their tri-fold screen device.
With this Huawei will be the first company to launch a tri-fold screen device to the market. Based on the leaked information, the device has a 6.8″ screen in the closed position and can grow to around 10″ when all three screens are open.
Oppo, and Tecno have also shown their first prototypes last week. The date chosen by Huawei is interesting because on the same day Apple held their new iPhone launch event.
