Huawei also officially launched the new MatePad Pro 12.2″ tablet in Malaysia. It brings a significant improvement in internal hardware aspects in addition to build quality that suits today's modern professional users.
The Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 has a Dual Tandem OLED PaperMatte display that allows it to offer a maximum peak brightness of 2000nits and anti-glare. Huawei claims that this case is able to give the experience of writing as if on paper, especially when using the Huawei M-Pencil (3rd generation) stylus. Also complementing the display is a resolution of 2.8K (1840 X 2800 pixels) and a high refresh rate of 144Hz.
No details on the processing chip used. But what is certain is that the memory options consist of 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The Harmonyos 4.2 launcher is also used complete with support for new AI-based features such as Celia Document Assistant which helps simplify PDF file summarization, AI Writing Tool can automatically extend a text in WPS Words and AI Tools For Notes now supports handwriting typefaces for writing more notes creative.
It is also equipped with the Go Paint application which is suitable for painting with more than 150 types of unique brushes and 320 layers of canvas available. It is even more special when there is a New Batik function that is offered exclusively for the Malaysian market only. The most important thing of course is that this application is provided for free without any additional payment charges. The camera system consists of 13MP (main) + 8MP ultra wide and 8MP selfie.
A 10,100mAh battery is used and can be charged via a USB-C port and 40W wired charging. The included all-new keyboard also has a hidden slot for storage purposes and magnetically charges the stylus right inside the keyboard. The official selling price is RM4,599 with a pre-order gift offer worth RM1847 which includes Huawei Glide Keyboard, M-Pencil (Powered by Nearlink) and Bluetooth Mouse.
