Thenoor is one of the applications that focuses on Muslim lifestyle, and offers access to some information such as prayer time, the Quran and so on through the neatly designed application. After being offered to the public since early 2021, it seems that the company behind the application has been changing management.
In a surprise step, then the founder and CEO of thenoor company Mohd Izzairi Yamin announced that the then CEO of the thenoor CEO had been since early August 2024. Further, former Mufti, Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri, has also announced his resignation as then-Chairman of the then 31 August 2024, today.
The reason behind it is not mentioned at this time. It is also unknown whether the cooperation of the thenoor and Maktabah al-Bakri in developing the AI system for religious questions will be affected or otherwise.
