InDrive is one of the car-driving services, which focuses on more worthwhile prices and values - in addition to the ability to discuss and bargain the price that a driver has to pay to the destination.
Having returned to operations after obtaining a license to run their pilot service business in Malaysia, the company has now just announced that they will be introducing a number of new services to this market.
For InDrive drivers, the company is expected to introduce a special insurance plan for them that will cover incidents such as accidents, theft and so on. Support for driving training will also be introduced, which is expected to be quite useful for those who are new to the driving industry.
Loyalty plans will also be introduced later to ensure drivers stay with the platform for the long term. For this, new support centers will also be developed in locations such as Penang and Johor Bahru later to help their drivers if there are any problems.
In the meantime, InDrive also has plans to add electric vehicles (EV) in their service in the future, but for the time being did not give any more details about it. This is in conjunction with the expected increase in the number of their drivers which will increase by 23 percent this year.
In terms of business expansion, they have also confirmed that they will enter some new markets such as Melaka. In terms of market dominance, InDrive also said that their service has shown a 20 percent increase in terms of total trips and a 21 percent increase in terms of active users by mid-2024.
