Intel Says There Are No Changes To Plans In Malaysia For Now

Continuing from yesterday's report by TheStar saying that Intel has postponed the construction of a factory in Penang, now Intel itself has issued an official statement, and said that there are no changes to their operation plans in Malaysia for the time being.

Intel said they have not announced any changes to their plans for now, and Intel also emphasized that Malaysia is an important market for them.

Previously, there were reports that Intel had postponed plans to expand their factory in Penang, and it was also said that it might affect the number of workers in Malaysia.

Intel has previously opened operations in Malaysia since 1972, and Malaysia is Intel's largest operating site outside the United States.
