Yesterday updates for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15 Sequoia, watchOS 11, visionOS 2, and tvOS 18 began rolling out to eligible devices. Unfortunately for iPad Pro owners with the M4 chip, the update to iPadOS 18 renders the tablet unusable.
On Apple's forums and social media sites, iPad Pro M4 owners complained that the update process would be interrupted, causing the tablet to no longer turn on. Apple is aware of this issue and delayed the iPadOS 18 update for the iPad Pro M4 series immediately.
If you are one of the owners of the iPad Pro M4 experiencing this problem, you are advised to contact Apple's customer support directly to resolve it.
