One of the main things we learned during the pandemic is that good air quality is important to guarantee health. It also drives the demand for home air filters which were once seen as a luxury but are now a necessity especially for those living in major cities. Today, the LG PuriCafe AeroFurniture is launched in Malaysia with an air purifier designed to look like a coffee table at home.
Admittedly, one of the issues with air filters offered on the market is that they are large and difficult to find where they should be placed at home. AeroFurniture is not only smaller but has a table on top which makes it more practical and only weighs around 7 kilograms.
Each AeroFurniture filter comes with a 360-degree HEPA filter system that can eliminate 99.999% of airborne bacteria and also trap dust particles as small as 0.01 μm. To ensure that the filtered air is even cleaner, the UVnano system is also included.
Adding to the uniqueness of this filter is that it comes with a wireless charger built directly on the table surface and a lighting system that can be changed to eight colors and its description. All of these can be controlled directly through the LG ThinQ app on the owner's smart device.
This lighting system also has a secondary function in that it changes according to the quality of the surrounding air. Green for good before turning orange or red according to the level of presence of air particles detected. According to LG, owners will also not be disturbed by the roar of AeroFurniture because it operates quietly at around 21 dB.
In Malaysia, LG PuriCare AeroFurniture is sold at a price of RM2500 each in Graphite, Clay Brown and Essence White colors starting today.
